Supplies – A nice fall scene with water reflections & trees

Filters – Graphics Plus – Cross Shadow

Image – Add Borders – 1 white

Image – Add Borders – 1 black

Image - Add Borders – 1 white

Select All

Selections Modify – Contract 4 pixels

Right Click on Layer Pallet – Promote Selection to Layer

Effects – 3D Effects – Cutout V/H minus 5 and minus 5, Opacity 50, Blur 24.75 Color Black

Repeat Cutout change only the V/H to 5 and 5

Select None

Image – Add Borders – 10 light blue

Select the Border with the Magic Wand

Effects – Texture Effects – Fine Leather

Color – Black Angle 30 Blur 70 Transparency 250 # of Furrows 80 Length 7

Effects – Edge Effects - Enhance

Select None

Image – Add Borders – 1 white

Image – Add Borders – 1 black

Image - Add Borders – 1 white

Image – Add Borders – 15 light blue #b9c8db

Select Border with Magic Wand

Effects – 3d Effects – Inner Bevel

Width 15 – Smoothness 80 – Depth 10 – Ambience minus 15 – Shininess 10 – Angle 315 – Intensity 40 – Elevation 40 - Color White

Select None

Image – Add Borders – 1 white

Image – Add Borders – 1 black

Image - Add Borders – 1 white

Image – Add Borders – 15 light blue

Select the Border with the Magic Wand

Effects – Texture Effects – Fine Leather – Same Settings as Previously Used

Color – Black Angle 30 Blur 70 Transparency 250 # of Furrows 80 Length 7

Effects – Edge Effects – Enhance

Select None

Image – Add Borders – 1 white

Image – Add Borders – 1 black

Image – Add Borders – 20 light blue #b9c8db

Select Border with Magic Wand

Right Click on Layer Pallet – Promote Selection to Layer

Effects – 3D Effects – Cutout – Same Settings as Previously Used

V/H minus 5 and minus 5, Opacity 50, Blur 24.75

Repeat Cutout change only the V/H to 5 and 5

Right Click Layer Pallet MERGE VISIBLE – KEEP SELECTED

Effects – 3D Effects Inner Bevel – Same Settings as Previously Used

Width 15 – Smoothness 80 – Depth 10 – Ambience minus 15 – Shininess 10 – Angle 315 – Intensity 40 – Elevation 40 - Color White

Select None

Effects – Plugins – Graphics Plus – Cross Shadow

First 6 settings @ 50 Intensity 37 – Brightness 128

Select None

Enhance Photo – Clarify – 5

Image – Add Borders – 1 pixel black

If you are satisfied with the frame – you can stop here. Add corners or embellishments & resize by 90% bicubic increments to the size you need for your project.

This part take some practice ------------- Activate the clone brush

Using approximately these settings

Size 94 hardness 0 Step 103 Density & Thickness 100 Rotation 3 Opacity 100 Blend Normal - Aligned Checked

Right Click approximate where the A is on the screenshot

Place the brush at little below top center of the tree on the frame portion & left click to apply clone brush

Continue to paint the tree toward the top of the frame

Readjust clone brush size as you paint the tree

If you aren’t happy with the results of your last click – Edit – Undo

Now to paint the leaves on the frame

Right Click approximately here

Left click to in areas around the frame to paint the leaves on the frame

Keep going around the water perimeter by right clicking then left clicking to paint bringing the image into your frame. You may need to keep changing the clone brush size.
